Q. Is the McLaren 750S just a minor facelift of the 720S, or is the ₹5.91 crore price jump justified?
SIX BUY AND SELL TEAM • Apr 2026
The 750S is essentially a "Greatest Hits" version of the 720S. While it looks similar, 30% of the components are new. It is 30kg lighter and has 30 PS more power. More importantly for India, the shorter final-drive ratio makes the acceleration feel much more explosive at city speeds. It takes everything that made the 720S a legend and sharpens it into a more emotional, louder, and faster package.

Q. How does the 750S handle the "patchy" tarmac of Indian highways compared to its rivals?
SIX BUY AND SELL TEAM • Apr 2026
It uses the third generation of McLaren’s Proactive Chassis Control (PCC III). Instead of traditional anti-roll bars, the dampers are hydraulically linked. This allows the 750S to offer a ride that is arguably more comfortable than a BMW 3 Series on broken roads, yet it remains completely flat in high-speed corners. For an Indian owner, this "dual personality" is its biggest selling point.

Q. Is the 750S Spider (Convertible) a better buy for India than the Coupe?
SIX BUY AND SELL TEAM • Apr 2026
The Spider carries a premium (pushing the price closer to ₹7.5 crore on-road), but the Retractable Hard Top (RHT) takes only 11 seconds to operate. In the Indian context, the Spider offers the best of both worlds: a sealed, air-conditioned cabin for the dusty, hot day and an open-top experience for a breezy night drive. Plus, the glazed flying buttresses on the Spider actually improve rear visibility, which is a major help in chaotic Indian traffic.

Q. Does the 750S feature any modern safety tech like ADAS for Indian road conditions?
SIX BUY AND SELL TEAM • Apr 2026
The 750S focuses on "Pure Driving," so you won't find lane-keep assist or autonomous braking. It does, however, feature 360-degree cameras and a much-improved park assist, which are vital when navigating a car this wide through narrow city lanes. It is a car for the driver who wants to be in total control, rather than one who wants the car to drive for them.

Q. What is the "one-button" lift feature in the 750S, and why is it a game-changer?
SIX BUY AND SELL TEAM • Apr 2026
In the 720S, the nose-lift was buried in a menu and took 10 seconds. In the 750S, it is a dedicated button that completes the lift in just 4 seconds. This is the difference between clearing a sudden speed breaker in Delhi traffic and holding up an entire line of cars. It is a small but critical "quality of life" upgrade for Indian owners.
