Maruti suzuki Brezza Latest Updates

  • The GST price changed by up to rs. 1. 13 lakhs. Now, the ex-showroom starting price is rs. 8. 26 lakhs, lower than the old Rs. 8. 69 lakhs.

  • The new starting price will be rs. 8. 39 lakh (ex-showroom), starting from 22 September.

  • Theres a price drop of rs. 30, 000 to Rs. And 48, 000 thanks to the GST change.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Engine and Performance

Positives:

  • A version running solely on petrol delivers 101. 6bhp and 136. 8Nm, offered either with a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic using a torque converter. Firing on CNG, power lands at 86. 6bhp with 121. 5Nm of twist, tied exclusively to a five, rung manual stick.

  • Though automatics aren't offered, the engine holds steady through each shift. Built into this petrol engine is a strong push at lower revs, useful when picking up pace between slow and moderate ranges.

  • Driving across long stretches of empty highway, the Brezza handles 100 km/h with ease. Speed feels natural here, not forced. Over open terrain, it moves smoothly, settled and confident.

  • Around corners, stability stays strong. Power delivery keeps things steady without sudden jumps. The ride remains calm even when the pace increases. On straight paths, engine noise stays low. Comfort doesn't drop as hours pass.

  • Wind rush is present but never overwhelming. Through flat landscapes, momentum builds effortlessly. Non-hybrids with manual gearboxes manage 17. 38km per litre, according to ARAI tests. Hybrids using manuals hit 19. 89 km/l under the same conditions.

  • Automatic versions fall slightly behind at 19. 80kmpl. When it comes to CNG models, fuel efficiency jumps to 25. 51km per kg. Hill, hold steps in when hands and feet sort out the gas, brake, and clutch on a slope.

  • That system keeps things steady without needing extra moves from the driver. Finding your way through city streets feels smooth using the five-speed manual, particularly when traffic keeps halting.

  • Movement stays predictable even when the pace stutters. Gears respond without fuss during sudden pauses. Shifting fits naturally into tight driving rhythms. The setup suits short bursts between red lights.

  • Smooth pickup makes crawling through city jams feel almost effortless. Paddle shifters click into place without fuss, helping you stay in control. Progress comes in gentle waves, never jerky, just steady forward motion. Sixth gear settles in quietly when speed opens up. Each change feels natural, like it was timed just right.

Negatives:

  • Firmness comes through on city streets when driving the Brezza slowly.

  • Faster traffic demands a lower gear when passing on the open road using a stick shift.

  • Power in the middle range feels calm because the engine focuses on saving fuel.

  • Power from the motor feels barely enough, not thrilling by any stretch.

Cons:

  • This SUV lacks ADAS features. The Brezza is yet to be crash, tested for safety ratings by NCAP.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Interior and Exterior

Styling Breezes features a striking razor-cut design of alloy wheels, dual-tone exteriors, and a shark-fin antenna.

Maruti Brezza Mileage

Maruti Brezza mileage as per ARAI is 19. 19 to 19. 8 kmpl. The petrol version of the vehicle has a mileage of 19. 19 to 19. 8 kmpl.

How is Maruti suzuki Brezza

Pros

  • As a small car, SUV, the Brezza looks quite stylish and attractive so that it looks cool on the street.
  • The interior is spacious and comfortable with good visibility from the driver's seat and the boot volume is sufficient too.
  • The car includes many comforts such as connected car technology, a very feature, rich infotainment system and a sunroof to mention a few.
  • The steering wheel that is very light, gear shifting that is smooth and the suspension are set, up all add up to give its ride quality a very high degree of comfort within cities as well as while going on long drives.
  • In our experience with it over a period of time, it turned out to be a very dependable, fuel efficient and almost worry, free/maintainance free car.

Cons

  • On rough, bad roads and when the speed is low, the Brezza really feels very bouncy and the vertical movement seems to be going on all the time.
  • Some interior parts are of quite ordinary quality as per their touch and feel and not so premium as the competitors.
  • The back seats are really quite uncomfortable if the number of people on these seats is three; two are okay. The power develops in the middle of the rev range from the engine is not so thrilling to drive. Sometimes the infotainment system seems to be unresponsive.
