Mahindra BE6

• The Mahindra BE 6 is offered with two battery pack options – 59 kWh and 79 kWh, paired with a single electric motor that powers the rear wheels. This setup delivers smooth performance along with a modern rear-wheel-drive experience.

  

• In its higher variant, the BE 6 can produce up to 281 bhp and 280 Nm of torque, offering strong performance for an electric SUV. Mahindra also claims an impressive range of up to 682 km on a full charge (MIDC cycle), making it suitable for long-distance travel.

• Charging is quick and convenient. With a 175 kW fast charger, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes, reducing waiting time significantly.

• The cabin of the Mahindra BE 6 stands out with its modern and futuristic design. One of the main highlights is the twin-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated BE logo and touch-based controls, giving it a premium and tech-forward feel.

  

• The dashboard is sleek and minimal, dominated by a large twin-display setup that seamlessly integrates the infotainment and driver’s display. It also features neatly placed AC vents and a floating centre console armrest, which smartly separates the driver and front passenger areas for a more cockpit-like experience.

  

• Adding a unique touch to the interior is the strap-style door grab handle, which not only looks stylish but also enhances the overall cabin design.

• In terms of features, the BE 6 is well-equipped with wireless mobile charging, automatic climate control, multiple drive modes, and a panoramic sunroof. For entertainment, it gets a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, along with OTA (Over-The-Air) updates, ensuring the car stays up-to-date with the latest software improvements.

• The Mahindra BE 6 comes equipped with a strong set of safety features to enhance both protection and driving confidence. It includes seven airbags, along with essential systems like ABS with EBD and ESP for better stability and control.

  

• Additional advanced features such as an electronic parking brake (EPB), auto park assist, and a 360-degree camera make parking and maneuvering much easier and safer.

• As of now, the BE 6 has not yet been tested in official crash safety ratings, so its safety score is still awaited.

  

• The BE 6 retains most of the design elements from the concept car. Some of these include the C-shaped LED DRLs, aero-spec dual-tone alloy wheels, sloping roofline, glossy black body cladding, full-length LED light bar on the tailgate, new Mahindra twin peaks logo, and a chunky rear diffuser.

  

• Inside, the Mahindra BE 6 boasts a new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel with a backlit BE logo, dual digital screen housing the driver's display and infotainment system, and an airplane-inspired gear lever.

  

• Additionally, the centre console houses a drive mode selector, front armrest, engine start-stop button, and cup holders. Also up for offer is an augmented heads-up display and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

• There are four colours to choose from - Firestorm Orange, Desert Myst, Everest White Satin, and Tango Red.
